چکیده
Ammonia/water absorption chillers are driven by low-grade heat and cover wide refrigeration temperatures. This paper analyses single-stage ammonia/water chillers. A numerical model was developed based on the exchanger performance. The captures variational performances describes actual cycle with varying boundary conditions. detrimental effects of refrigerant impurity were analysed quantitatively under different operating validated experimental data. basic three advanced cycles for sub-zero comparing thermodynamic performances. compression-assisted extended activation temperature from 80 to 60 °C. At source 120 °C, when a counter-current desorber or bypassed rich solution used, COP increased 0.51 0.58 0.57, respectively. parameters included temperatures, sink mass flow rates concentrations solutions. Higher temperatures increase cooling capacity. around 20 kW refrigeration. There is an optimum maximising COP. rate reduced concentration. concentration can decrease 0.999 0.960.

Performance analysis of organic Rankine cycle based on location of heat transfer pinch point in evaporator
The location of heat transfer pinch point in evaporator is the base of determining operating parameters of organic Rankine cycle (ORC). The physical mathematical model seeking the location of pinch point is established, by which, the temperature variations both of heat source and working fluid with UA can be obtained. Taking heat source with inlet temperature of 160 C as example, the matching p...
متن کاملDynamic Performance Analysis for an Absorption Chiller under Different Working Conditions
Due to the merits of energy saving and environmental protection, the absorption chiller (AC) has attracted a lot of attention, and previous studies only concentrated on the dynamic response of the AC under a single working condition. However, the working conditions are usually variable, and the dynamic performance under different working conditions is beneficial for the adjustment of AC and the...
متن کاملExergy Analysis of a Novel Combined System Consisting of a Gas Turbine, an Organic Rankine Cycle and an Absorption Chiller to Produce Power, Heat and Cold
The current work investigates the exergy analysis of a new system to generate power, heat, and refrigeration. In the proposed system, the heat loss of a gas turbine (GT) is first recovered by a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSD), then by an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) to generate warm water and additional power, respectively. In the ORC, reheating is used to increase the output power, the req...
